The SUOMY 70's jet is a lightweight, versatile, stylish helmet with its light Suomy logo interior and the retractable parasol visor. Designed for urban use and predominantly intended for scooter lovers, it is also highly appreciated by Harleists in the monochrome and no logo format.

SHELL

- Production process of the composite shell:

One of the strengths of the SUOMY JET 70's helmet is the creation of a composite shell made of glass fibers and fabrics in different thicknesses and weights.

The efforts made by SUOMY in the past years and the willingness to remain in Italy to produce all their products have paid off abundantly. The "know-how" of the research and development department has allowed us to use new materials that allow for a lightweight but at the same time even more resistant to homologous shocks.

Each helmet is a unique and articulated piece in Italy. Molding is done strictly by hand.

PROTECTIVE POLYSTYRY

The internal protection polystyrene is made of unique size and with variable density. This feature allows a gradual and progressive absorption of impact force generated by impact.

Although most of the energy due to an impact is absorbed by the outer protective shell due to its deformation, the role of the polystyrene is crucial for the absorption of residual energy.

A varied density of the polystyrene itself optimizes the mechanical performance of the polystyrene shell, ensuring maximum absorption in all areas of the helmet itself.

VISOR

Following the new market trends SUOMY JET 70's does not have the classic visor but simply a retractable sun visor.

The visor actuation takes place by means of the appendices made on the same and for this reason it is easy to use.

The visor is fixed to the helmet by the use of a patented SUOMY® system that uses fully drowned mechanisms in the polystyrene itself through a co-molding process.

This system, besides making the removal and replacement of the easy-to-carry parasol visor, allows you to have great advantages and precisely:

Lack of holes on the outer shell for fixing the handling mechanisms

No deformation resulting in better freedom of movement of the visor itself by virtue of fastening to the internal polystyrene rigid system) rather than the much deformable outer shell;

Absence of use of fasteners for fixing the interior (thanks to the fixing of the frame by co-molding) and absence of cracking phenomena and consequent interference with the movement of the visor itself.

INTERNAL

The interiors are fully precious elasticized fabric on both sides with elastomer and microwoven polyester INDIANAPOLIS® polyester:

High abrasion resistance;

It sweeps sweat away from the body;

Antibacterial treatment;

Interpower treatment by degree of absorption;

Keeps it fresh, dry and comfortable;

Lightweight, soft and breathable fabric;

Performance verified and certified according to OECO Test Std 100 tests.

The pillowcases and the inner comfort upper cuff are removable, washable and replaceable. Both the pillows and the headset are in different thicknesses to meet all user sizes.

The removable removable latch has been made using a new patented fixing system by SUOMY®, which includes the coat of the inner mounting frame on the polystyrene.

In this way, besides not using any type of glue to lock it, there is no possibility of annoying dislodging of the same.
