Developed to accommodate the Alpinestars Tech-Air ™ Race, the category reference, and featuring innovative outdoor protective technologies, the GP Tech V2 Leather Suit is made of cowhide and kangaroo leather to provide unmatched abrasion and tear resistance. Perfectly optimized for use with or without Tech-Air ™, the GP Tech V2 incorporates elasticated bellows and aramid panels for anatomical racing fit. The suit is fitted with a category-specific internal caps, reinforced stitching on all over the waist and elasticated panels to provide the ultimate in comfort, safety and fit. • GP Tech Suit's design evolution to integrate the Tech-Air ™ Race airbag system: - LED display on the sleeve indicating the airbag status. Internal passage for system controller. - Internal Velcro fastenings and zipper to accommodate the airbag vest. - Belt elasticated inserts on shoulders and armpits to accommodate the swollen airbag with anatomical function when used without the airbag. • Resistant, high-quality cowhide and kangaroo structure for maximum abrasion resistance, with reinforced stitching for optimal tear resistance in impact or abrasion for slipping. • Striking in the strategic zone around the suit to provide excellent levels of ventilation and comfort. • Internal and external protective capability - with: - Alpinestars EC-certified race racing internal elbow protectors, elbows, shoulders, knees and tibias. - New, unique shoulder protector developed by Alpinestars GP DFS (GP Dynamic Friction Shield) with anatomic profile and integral with a triple-density polymeric compound to improve sliding performance. The GP DFS protection is ergonomically designed for better chest flexibility, and features mesh overlaid mesh overlays for excellent ventilation. - Innovative new anatomic slider elbow with triple-density polymeric compound to improve sliding performance. The elbow slider is detachable and replaceable with screw mounting for unmanaged friction management. - External Knee Slider (DFS) to provide additional abrasion resistance in critical area. - Automatic connection system for integration with the Nucleon Race rack 2 CE level certificate for use without the Tech-Air ™ system. - Pectoral wraps with advanced foam padding (Nucleon CE certified pectorals available as optional). - The suit is equipped with Nucleon CE anatomic and detachable protectors. • ARSHIELD ergonomic reinforcements made of aramid and polyamide fiber in a strategic position on sleeves and knees. • Soft 3D mesh collar and cuffs to enhance comfort and breathability. • Wrist and ankle straps in stretch fabric for improved fit and comfort. • New evolved aerodynamic hood designed to accommodate the water bag and equipped with a passageway for the tubular. • Superior level suits thanks to: - Alpinestars leather lumbar breech insert that allows excellent flexibility in the pick-up position. - Wide elasticated leather bellows panels on the back, arms and elbows for excellent fit even with different driving styles. - Wide new calfskin panels with elasticized elasticated leather for a sporty fit. • All leather bellows inserts are punched to enhance comfort, ventilation and abrasion and tear resistance. • Strong, elasticated fibreboard in a strategic position on armpits, shoulders, horses and thighs. • Detachable multi-pan mesh mesh and 3D mesh inserts for improved comfort and ventilation.
