The STD2V accessory is the standard cable that comes in every kit (Base, P or PA) at the time of purchase.

If you are in possession of another bike and / or another vehicle (eg. Car), with a battery charger BC and an additional STD2V, by rotating the use in batteries, you can keep the latter always at optimum charge level. Below are listed the characteristics that allow it to be a permanent installation on the vehicle.

Materials:

The wiring is made with specific high quality materials for use in the Automotive (resistance to oils, greases, atmospheric agents, thermal / mechanical stress). The high temperature sheath, the connectors suitable for use in harsh conditions and the cap watertight protection are a guarantee of quality and duration of the connection to the battery system.

Mounting the battery:

The eyelets are dimensioned to adapt to the standards of all the batteries on the market (installed on motorbikes, motorcycles and light vehicles). Similarly, however, the eyelets may be used for permanent installation on medium / high capacity batteries (> 40 Ah), inserting the eyelet into the clamping screw of the terminals that reach the battery. For the use of the wiring of cars, it is advisable to secure the connector to the vehicle with a clamp.

Safety:

A fuse is installed on the wiring in the vicinity of the positive pole of the battery. Furthermore, it should be remembered, in case of accidental contact between the eyelets (positive and negative pole) to the internal electronics charger has a permanent protection against any spark, eliminating any risk to the user.
